1800 acres of lush greenery make up Waimea Falls Park. If the Garden of
Eden is too far away, an equaled botanical Paradise awaits on Hawaii's North
Shore. Intoxicating scents from exotic and rare tropical flowers assail the air
and make a vivid impact on the eyes. And twenty-five years ago, Tinker Blomfield
discovered her bearings as a Wedding Coordinator here.

"I led people on tours, versed myself with names of flowers and plants and other
aspects of Waimea Falls Park. Within a year, inquiries about weddings being
held here began pouring in" and Tinker coordinated her first wedding in 1979.
She sought advice from various experts and by year's end in 1990 alone, she
had successfully orchestrated 550 weddings.

It's an undeniable fact that Tinker has found her niche in creating beautiful and
memorable weddings. Glossy exteriors are important and photographs or videos
of this once in a lifetime day should be reflections of just that. But Tinker places
equal importance on the heart of the matter: "When a bride and her groom come
to gauge the site of their ceremony, it's extremely critical that they're comfortable
and feel drawn to the place. There also needs to be a connection between the
couple and me where communication flows freely. And I do my absolute best to
make that happen."

Tinker's inspiration for what she does comes from an innate need to envision
and create things of beauty. "I feel like I'm in an exquisitely beautiful place; I can't
imagine myself anywhere else nor doing anything else but this. It truly gratifies
me and when I put together momentous occasions, I know that I'm passing on this
gift, which I've been given."

Tinker takes care in accommodating every aspect of the wedding, down to the
smallest details. Her calmness, patience, love of diversity and infinite appreciation
for natural beauty work in flawless harmony,so that every wedding, every vow
renewal, every special event is something to remember for years to come.
